8 Free Printable Reward Charts (Sticker Charts, Punch Cards & Coupons)

This pack has 8 free printable reward charts: a ten-star sticker chart, a twenty-box sticker chart, a five-step toddler chart, a weekly goals chart, a 30-day star chart, four cut-out punch cards, six reward coupons, and a goal thermometer. Every page is black and white on US Letter — print one, or laminate it and reuse it with a dry-erase marker. No signup.

The design choice that shapes the whole set: the number of steps matches the attention span, not the ambition. A two-year-old gets five big circles; a nine-year-old can run a 30-day chart. Start with the shortest chart your child can finish, because a completed chart teaches more than an abandoned long one.

Sticker charts (10 stars and 20 boxes)

The two classic formats: ten star slots for a first chart, and a twenty-box grid when ten fills too fast. Both have a write-in goal line at the top, and the star slots are drawn large on purpose — big enough for standard 1-inch stickers, or for coloring in when the sticker sheet runs out.

Toddler chart: five steps to the trophy

For ages 2-4, five is the whole game. The chart is a short winding path — five numbered circles leading to a trophy — so a toddler can see the finish from the very first sticker. One goal per chart works best at this age; the “We are working on” line keeps everyone honest about what that one goal is.

Weekly chart, 30-day chart and goal thermometer

Three formats for longer streaks: a weekly chart with four write-in goals and a star for each day, a 30-day chart with numbered circles for habit-building, and a goal thermometer that colors up from 0% to 100% — useful when the family is saving toward one big shared reward, like a zoo trip.

Punch cards and reward coupons

The punch cards work like a coffee shop card: ten circles, punch or color one each time, full card earns the prize written on the line. The six coupons are the prizes themselves — extra bedtime story, family movie night, trip to the park, stay up 15 minutes late, choose dinner, and a skip-a-chore pass. All six are time-and-attention rewards, not toys, so the prize box never needs restocking.

How to print and reuse these

All 8 pages are US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) with half-inch margins, in pure black and white — no color ink needed. Charts you’ll reuse weekly (the weekly chart, the thermometer) hold up well laminated or in a plastic sleeve with a dry-erase marker. The punch cards and coupons are sturdier on cardstock, but plain paper works.

FAQ

What age can a child start a reward chart?

Around age 2, with the five-step toddler chart. Under five steps there is nothing to track; over five, a toddler loses the plot before the finish.

What rewards work with a sticker chart?

Time-based rewards outlast toy-based ones — that is why the coupon sheet is all experiences: an extra story, movie night, a park trip, staying up late, choosing dinner, and skipping one chore.

How many stickers should a goal take?

Match the chart to the age: 5 for toddlers, 10 for preschoolers, 20 or a 30-day chart for school-age kids. The chart should be finishable within the child’s sense of time.

Reward chart or chore chart: which one do I need?

A chore chart tracks recurring jobs; a reward chart tracks progress toward one prize. They pair well: our printable chore charts handle the daily jobs, and these charts handle the motivation on top.
