The snowman is one of the most well-known symbols of winter. Snowmen have been made for a very long time and probably won’t stop anytime soon. Why not spend some time learning more about everyone’s favorite work of “art” now that another winter is upon us?
The standard snowman is often made up of three giant snowballs of various sizes, along with some extra accessories for facial and other features. A basic happy face with a carrot for a nose is a common accessory, as are branches for arms. It’s possible to insert human clothes like a hat or scarf.
The popular song “Frosty the Snowman” describes a snowman with a corncob pipe, button nose, coal eyes, and an old silk hat, among other variants of the standard shapes usually depicted as a top hat. These additional varieties include intricate snow sculptures that resemble ice sculptures as well as snow columns.

- Coloring material
Instructions
Step 1: Draw the Head
For the head of your snowman, start by drawing a circle. It doesn’t have to be a perfect circle. To do this, you just simply draw a circle on the upper portion of the paper. You can use an object to trace a circle for the head.
Step 2: Add the Mouth and the Eyes
This time we will draw the eyes and the mouth of your snowman. Draw two shaded small oblongs on the upper portion of the head. Then, under the eyes, draw a letter C facing upward. That is the mouth of your snowman.
Step 3: Draw the Nose
As we can see in the movie, they used carrots for the nose of a snowman. Now, imagine a carrot then try to draw it in between the eyes and mouth of your snowman. The pointed one will overlap a little to the left side of the head.
Step 4: Remove the Extra Line
The next thing that we need to do is to erase extra lines from your drawing. Erasing some lines will help your drawing be better. On the bottom part of the nose, erase the short line inside it.
Step 5: Add Details
As we observed in the movie, the snowman has a hat and scarf. In this step, we will draw the first of drawing a hat. All you have to do is draw a capsule shape on the upper portion of the head. This will be the first for the hat of our snowman.
Step 6: Remove Extra Lines
Now that we are done adding the first step for the snowman’s hat let’s erase some lines that are not included in your drawing. Erase all the lines inside the capsule. Make sure that the capsule is still connected to the upper portion of the head.
Step 7: Add More Details
Let’s add more details to the hat of our snowman by drawing a curve V-shape on the upper portion of the capsule. Make sure that this looks like a real hat to make your snowman attractive and good to look at.
Step 8: Add More Details
Snowman will be happy if you’ll add more details to the hat. Now, on the bottom part of the hat that you’ve drawn earlier draw a small circle. Make sure that the small circle are still connected to the hat.
Step 9: Draw the Body
The head and the hat are perfectly done. Let’s put the body of the snowman on the middle part of your paper. Draw a big circle under the head. This body will go beyond to the lower portion of the head. Then after, erase the lines that ov erlap to the head.
Step 10: Draw the Scarf
Scarf are very useful to the people who are living in the cold places. Draw a curved line from the left side of the body going to the opposite direction. This curve line will overlap on both side of the body. Then after that, draw a curved line going upward then connect it to the lower portion of the head.
Step 11: Add Details
This time we will put details to our scarf by adding more lines and shapes to it. Draw a not so perfect rectangular shape. This two rectangular will be drawn the under the scarf that you made in step 10. This looks like a bow.
Step 12: Add the Arms
For the arm we will just imagine the branches of the tree. On both side of the upper portion of the body draw a long curved line going upward. Make sure that the sizes will fit to the head and the body of the snowman.
Step 13: Add Deatials to the Arms
Let’s put more details to the arms of our snowman. Add short curve line to the arm to look more good. You can add more details to your snowman if you have more ideas. But It would be better if you make simple.
Step 14: Add More Details
To make the scarf more attractive let’s add more details to it. On the bottom part of the scarf draw a not so perfect lines. The distance of each short lines must be observed to make youe drawing good and neat.
