Rooster Wall Art
Rooster wall art is the easiest type of art you can create from coloring pages. Find a coloring page that features the rooster in the design and background that works for you. Color the rooster with vibrant colors or more permanent colors other than crayons. For example, use watercolor brush pens or colored pencils. You can also pastel or other coloring methods. Once you have the rooster looking the way you want, it is time for the backing. You can use gift wrap paper, foam board, or even wallpaper. Place the rooster in the middle and center of everything. Now, just put the image and backing into the frame and hang it on the wall. It is that easy.
Rooster Dry Erase Board
Everyone has a need for a dry erase board. They are wonderful for keeping up with meal plans for the week, important notes and events, as well as a daily to-do list. If you are in college or you are a parent who homeschools, you can use the dry erase board for assignments. So, how do you make a dry erase board? It is pretty easy. Color the rooster coloring page just like you would create the rooster wall art we just mentioned. Once the coloring page is finished, place it in the frame. This sounds like wall art, but here is where it takes a turn to a more functional option. The glass acts as your dry erase board.
You can just mark it on the glass of the frame and erase it as needed. If you are worried about your dry to erase color being blocked out by your rooster coloring page, use lighter colors that are still appealing to you. If you are worried about your coloring page becoming damaged when you clean the dry erase board, consider using clear packing tape to laminate the image. This will protect it from any dampness.
Wall or Desk Clock
Have you ever been shopping around and found a kitchen set that had everything you wanted, but a clock? Let’s face it, if you want to create a theme in your kitchen like a farmhouse theme, you need to make sure you have everything come together. If you can’t find the right clock, you end up throwing off the decor theme. You can make your own wall clock or even desk clock that will fit a farmhouse theme.
Of course, it starts with a rooster coloring page of your choice. Once the coloring page is finished and looks like you want it, you can place it as the face of the clock. Do this by picking up an inexpensive clock at a thrift store or dollar store. Remove the back. Place your rooster coloring page in place of the original backing. Put the backing back on. Now you have the perfect wall clock for a farmhouse decor plan.
