Are you a fan of Cobra Kai? If you binged the Netflix show about the grown-up characters from Karate Kid, then show up and show no mercy: you’ll love these Cobra Kai coloring pages! Use your favorite crayons and pencils to face off with Johnny Lawrence and the disciples of Cobra Kai and Eagle Fang. Follow Daniel LaRusso and the students of Miyagi-do…including Daniel’s daughter Sam and Johnny’s son Robby. Can the new generation settle their differences peacefully, or are they doomed to repeat the past and play into the plots of the scheming senseis, John Kreese and Terry Silver? It’s a veritably Shakespearean web of intergenerational drama…and martial arts!
Quiet! Get ready to color Sensei Johnny Lawrence! With his blond hair, blue eyes, and black t-shirts, he’s still the same proud teen who lost the All-Valley Karate Tournament with a final crane-kick to the chin…except that he’s now in his forties, single, and rough around the edges. Grab your red pencils and a six-pack to color Johnny heading for his aging hotrod at the Quick-Stop. He interrupts a teen gang attacking young Miguel, and an unlikely friendship is born. (But not that unlikely—didn’t this happen at the beginning of The Karate Kid?)
With a single-parent mom and the cool kids on his case, Miguel needs a teacher as much as Sensei Lawrence needs a student. Color Miguel’s first moment of victory as he stands up to some bullies and stands victorious on a lunchroom table. News of his victory spreads through the school and brings new students to the Cobra Kai dojo. Bullied boys and girls find new identities (and blue mohawks!) at the brand new dojo. Color the yellow and black serpent rising from the red ashes in these Cobra Kai coloring pages. Cobra Kai never dies!
Meanwhile, Daniel LaRusso (the original Karate Kid!), who beat Johnny at the All-Valley Tournament, has high kicked his way to success as a car salesman, husband, and father. His daughter, Sam, is also a karateka! Use your favorite coloring utensils to render the warm woods and white walls of his karate dojo, a tribute to his mentor, Mr. Miyagi. When Sam goes on a date with Miguel, color the boardwalk and bright lights as they take a romantic stroll on a warm California evening. This seems familiar…. But will Sam really fall for the student of her father’s old rival?
Daniel will become a similar mentor to Johnny’s estranged son, Robby, down on his luck and in need of protection. When Robby comes to stay with Sensei LaRusso, color his sandy hair and piercing eyes as he practices kata in the Miyagi-do dojo. But what will happen when Sam falls for Robby—son of her father’s old rival (wait, didn’t I just write that)? Will Robby face off against Miguel? Will Daniel face off against Johnny? Who should we root for? It’s practically Romeo and Juliet–but with more punching!
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more dramatic, watch out! The old Cobra Kai senseis are back and looking to restore their dominance! Color the smoke curling from Kreese’s cigar as he smiles, snake-like, from behind his old desk at the dojo. Kreese’s pal, Terry Silver, with his brown ponytail and black gi, has his own designs on the Cobra Kai name. Can Johnny and Daniel set aside their differences in time to stop these old serpents from stealing their students? Settle the score once and for all with these Cobra Kai coloring pages!
