How to Draw an Apple
Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Coloring Material
Instructions
Step 1: Draw the Body
Let’s start our apple by drawing the basic shape. Draw a big perfect circle on the center of your paper. This will be the body and the foundation of your drawing. You may use a cup or anything to trace a perfect circle.
Step 2: Add Details
We are done with the foundation of your drawing, now let’s add details inside the circle. This will help your drawing to form the exact shape of the apple. Inside the circle, on the upper portion, draw a wavy line from the left side of the circle to the opposite direction.
Step 3: Add More Details
This time we will be working on the bottom part of your apple. Draw a small curved line on the bottom part at the center of the circle. You will observe this in the bottom part of your apple.
Step 4: Remove Extra Line
It’s time to erase the lines that are not important to your drawing. On the upper portion of the apple, erase the curve line on the top of the wavy line that you’ve drawn in step 2. Then, on the bottom part erase the lines in the curve line area.
Step 5: Draw the Stem
The next thing that we need to do is to draw the stem of the apple. Draw a short curved vertical line on the top center of the apple. This will serve as the stem of your apple. Make sure that this stem is connected to the top portion of the apple.
Step 6: Add Details
In this step, we will add details to our stem to make it thicker. Draw another short curve vertical line beside it, then enclose it with a short horizontal line. Make sure to put a space between them to the line.
Step 7: Add the Leaf
Fruits are empty without a leaf around them so, let’s add a leaf to your drawing. On the left side of the stem, draw a not-so-perfect oval shape with a pointed tip of it. Your apple looks good with a small leaf on the side.
Step 8: Finish up!
Congratulations on reaching the last step of our tutorial. Are you excited to color your apple? Feel free to choose your favorite color for your apple. A color that will bring your drawing to life. After that, paste it into your living room or in your refrigerator so that your family will see it. And congratulate you on a job well done.
