Framed Coloring Pages

Framed coloring pages can create an entire set of artwork for the nursery. The artwork is easy to put together. All you need to do is find the right-sized coloring pages, use a backing, and frame them. You can choose to go younger with the look or more professional depending on the style you want for the bedroom. If you want to go younger, choose coloring pages and colors that are light and pages that are very basic in style. If you want to go for a more professional expression, consider finding kangaroo coloring pages that are listed as adult coloring. They tend to have more depth and give a more store-bought look.

Wallpaper Border

A wallpaper border is not something you probably think of when you think of coloring pages. There are several colored page sizes that would be ideal to do a border along the top of a wall. How do you create it? That part is pretty easy. Find the size of coloring pages you would like. Measure the first one and determine how many you need to print to create a full room border.

When you have colored them the way you want, begin placing them along the top of the wall. You can attach the pages using a thin wallpaper glue or regular glue. Use a sponge to spread the glue to ensure the coloring page is not damaged. Once these are put in place, coat them with a mod podge. This will seal them to the wall and give you a finished look.

Toy Block Stacks

Toy blocks or soft blocks are something you may see a lot of. You may even want them sitting on the changing table in the room. What you may not know is how to use coloring pages to make that happen. It is actually easier than you think. You will need hot glue,  small kangaroo coloring pages, and small picture frames. Take your colored kangaroo coloring pages and place them into your small picture frames. You will need 4, one for each side. Take hot glue and glue the sides of the picture frames to each other to create a 4-sided box. You know have a cute toy block looking like small, cute kangaroos.

Wood Drawer Labels

Drawer labels are something many parents use in the nursery. The issue is you may not want to damage the chest of drawers. There is one way you can still have unique drawer labels that match the design. Using the kangaroo coloring pages, find pages that have multiple images. Color the images as normal. Use wood hanging drawer labels with either ribbon or jute to hang them. Take your small coloring kangaroo images and use mod podge to place them on the wood labels. Use a layer of mod podge on the top to seal them. You now have cute kangaroo drawer labels. Just write along with the label the name of the item in the drawer and you are done.
