Two things decide which page suits which child. The first is line weight: the cartoon pages use one thick outline with a plain background, while the realistic pages carry hatching and scale detail that a crayon will simply cover. The second is orientation — six pages here are landscape, and they need “landscape” chosen in the print dialog or they come out shrunk with white bands.

Cartoon dinosaurs in jungle scenes
Seventeen pages put a friendly dinosaur on a rock with ferns, palms and clouds around it: a long-necked sauropod, a stegosaurus with plates along its back, a crested parasaurolophus, a spinosaurus with its sail, a grinning T-Rex. Two of them show a baby breaking out of an egg, and one puts a T-Rex on a bicycle. Outlines are thick, faces are simple, and the background never crowds the animal — these are the pages for ages 3 to 7.
Realistic dinosaur pages
Five pages drop the cartoon face and draw the animal as an animal: a heavy-jawed pachycephalosaurus, a striped tyrannosaurus mid-stride, a pterodactyl gliding with two more behind it. The line work is finer and there is texture on the skin, so these hold a colored pencil better than a crayon and suit children who want the drawing to look like the museum.
Six wide landscape pages
Six sheets turn sideways for the scene. Two are quiet: a triceratops and a sauropod grazing in a valley, and a resting sauropod with a stegosaurus beside it. Two are panoramas with a herd spread across a river. One is a cartoon standoff between a stegosaurus and a horned dinosaur. The last is a search-and-find page — dozens of small dinosaurs packed into one prehistoric landscape, easily the longest page in the set to finish.
How to print these
Every page is US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), black and white, with the drawing inside the printable margin. Plain copy paper is fine; choose “Fit to page” if your printer asks. For the six landscape pages, set the orientation to landscape first — otherwise the sheet prints small in the middle of the page.

Which pages suit a three-year-old?
The cartoon jungle scenes, and especially the two hatching-egg pages. Thick outlines, big shapes, and nothing in the background that needs a fine point.
Are the dinosaurs named on the pages?
No — the sheets carry no text. The species are recognisable by shape: plates for stegosaurus, a sail for spinosaurus, a crest for parasaurolophus, a frill and three horns for triceratops.
