This collection has 73 free bird coloring pages — the second-largest set on the site — and it is really three collections in one: 32 owls, 21 ducks and swans, and 20 garden scenes with small birds, birdhouses and blossom trees. Every page is black and white on US Letter, downloads as a free PDF, and needs no signup.
That split is the thing to know before scrolling. If you came looking for owls, more than a third of this page is owls, and they run the full range — eleven drawn in dense zentangle pattern for adults, twenty-one drawn kawaii with big round eyes and a patterned chest for young children. If you came for ducks, twenty-one pages follow ducklings, swans and one flamingo across ponds and riverbanks. The garden scenes are the quietest twenty: wide landscapes with a fence, a tree and half a dozen small birds.

What’s in this collection
Thirty-two owls, twenty-one ducks and swans, and twenty garden scenes — 73 in total, in the grid below. Each has its own Download PDF and Print button, so you can take one page instead of the whole set.

Thirty-two owls
Twenty-one are drawn kawaii: a round body, two large eyes, and a chest filled with a repeating pattern — hearts, chevrons, scallops, dots, flowers. Each one sits in a small scene, on a branch under a rainbow, beside a cactus in the rain, dressed for winter in a hat and scarf, perched on a Christmas tree. The pattern on the chest is the point — it turns every page into a small color-scheme exercise.
The other eleven are the opposite: zentangle owls, with the whole bird packed edge to edge in feather scales, spirals, leaves and mandala shapes, sometimes framed by a wreath of foliage. Fine lines throughout and no large flat areas — these are adult-coloring pages in everything but name.
Twenty-one ducks and swans
Ducklings on a pond with reeds, a mother leading four young across the water, a swan gliding under a bridge, a duck on a log, one wearing a bonnet, and a flamingo standing on one leg in the shallows. The line work here is the simplest in the set — round bodies, few internal lines, wide open water — which makes these the pages for ages 3 to 6.
Twenty garden scenes
Twenty pages widen out to a whole landscape: birds over a cottage roof, a bird table beside a picket fence, a birdhouse on a post, a family of birds on a blossom branch, a nest with an adult feeding chicks, children watching from a garden path, a beach with gulls. Lots of sky and grass, small birds scattered through — the pages that fill fastest.
How to print these
Every page is US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), pure black and white, with the drawing inside the printable margin. Plain copy paper is fine; choose “Fit to page” if your printer asks. Print the eleven zentangle owls at best quality — their internal pattern is the finest line work here and draft mode fuses it into grey.
FAQ

Thirty-two of them — twenty-one kawaii owls with patterned chests and eleven dense zentangle designs for adults. That is more owls than most dedicated owl pages carry.
Which pages suit a three-year-old?
The ducks and swans. Round bodies, few internal lines and plenty of open water around them.

Twenty-one, including ducklings on a pond, a mother with young, a swan under a bridge and one flamingo.
Can I download all 73 as one PDF?
Not as a single file. Each page has its own Download PDF button in the grid, which keeps files small and lets you build your own selection.
For more of the same, the butterfly coloring pages share the garden setting, and the animals and nature collection holds the rest of the free sets in this silo.
