These are the simplest vehicle pages on the site. Every boat is drawn as a hull, a cabin, a funnel or a sail, and a line of portholes — five or six shapes, thick outlines, no rigging detail and no rivets. The water underneath is a few long wavy lines and the sky is mostly empty. That puts them squarely at ages 3 to 7, and makes them one of the few sets here a child can finish in ten minutes without it looking rushed.

Sailing boats
Nine pages put a sail up: a single-masted dinghy heeling over, a yacht seen head-on with the bow toward you, a two-master under a sky of stars, a boat passing a lighthouse, two sails crossing on open water. The sail is the biggest single shape on any page in this collection — one sweep of color and half the sheet is done.
Steamers, ferries and tugs
Seven pages run on engines: a tug with three funnels puffing smoke, a ferry against a mountain backdrop, a small steamer under a rainbow, a liner with rows of portholes. The portholes give a neat repeating row to fill in a second color — the one bit of pattern in the set.
Rowing boats, speedboats and the tall ship
Two pages take the oars: a rowing boat pulled up beside pines, and a boy fishing from one with a palm island behind. Two more open the throttle, with a speedboat throwing a wake across the page. One page is grander — a tall ship with a flag at the masthead and a decorated hull, the most detailed drawing here. And one puts a child in a sailor’s cap at the wheel.
How to print these
Every page is US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), pure black and white, with the drawing inside the printable margin. Plain copy paper is fine; choose “Fit to page” if your printer asks. Thick outlines and large closed shapes mean these take a felt-tip marker cleanly, which is not true of most sets on this site.
