The movie was released in December of 2018 in the United States and a few months earlier in Europe. This superhero movie will delight Jason Momoa fans since he plays the starring role as the character known as Aquaman.
The film was distributed by Warner Brothers pictures and is part of the DC extended universe category. It was directed by James Wan who adapted the movie from a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Will Beall. It features Aquaman as he sets out to become the leader of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis but he must halt his half-brother, King Orm Marius, also known as Ocean Master, from bringing the seven underwater kingdoms together in his effort to destroy the surface world.
