2. Why hello spring coloring pages are perfect for kids?

Spring scenes are a great way to have fun with your kids this season. There are all sorts of scenes that can be colored, including flowers, animals, and so much more. Your kids will find it easy to get creative and imaginative with these coloring pages.

They’ll be inspired by all of the colors outside. With so many available colors, spring coloring sheets inspire lots of creativity.

You can even take this activity outside, assuming that it’s not raining.  When the kids don’t feel like running around the yard, they can still get some fresh air as they work on their spring coloring pictures.

2.1 Spring Coloring Pages are the Perfect Rainy Day Activity

Whether it’s a rainy day or one where you’re just waiting for spring to arrive, coloring pages are the perfect activity for your kids. They’ll feel like they’re doing something productive when they color and enjoy themselves at the same time. Coloring pages can be a great way to stay calm and productive while you wait out a storm.

And there’s a good chance that you will have some rainy days when spring arrives. Those showers may bring flowers, but in the meantime, they keep energetic kids stuck indoors.

And that’s exactly where spring coloring pages come in. Give your child a coloring page, and they’ll have a way to stay entertained that doesn’t involve screen time. Plus, spring coloring page can bring some color to a gray day.

2.2. Coloring Pages Keep Kids Entertained During Spring Break

What’s your favorite part about the spring season, that question might bring up images of a spring flower.

Or maybe you’re thinking about your favorite spring holiday. For a lot of kids, though, the answer is spring break. There are few things that kids love more than a break from school.

A lot of families go away for spring break. They take the opportunity to go to the beach or the mountains. For traveling families, spring coloring pages can make a huge difference. A spring coloring page can be a great activity for the car or airplane.

Your child may love the beach, but getting there is a completely different story. By coloring a spring coloring sheet, your child can stay distracted during the trip.

Other families would rather say home during this time. For these families, traveling for a week and then going right back to school seems exhausting.

Welcome spring coloring page can be great for these families, too. Because even if you’re not traveling, the kids will still need activities. Coloring pages of spring can keep them from watching TV all week long.

2.3. Spring Coloring Pages Help Little Ones Learn about The Season

Small children are constantly learning, so welcome spring coloring sheet can help you make the most of that learning. Children love to see the seasons change. With a spring coloring page and some crayons or colored pencils, children can learn all about the spring season.

With these printables, you can teach your preschooler about blooming flowers. You might also teach them about earth day, which also happens during the spring.

3. Some craft ideas to do with the finished spring coloring pages

On a rainy day, let’s do some craft inside your house. It helps you to stay inside without feeling bored and give your spring coloring pagé another life.

Let’s refer to some ideas below and do it right now with your friends or parents.

3.1. Spring Garland

To make a fresh spring, let’s make a garland to decor your small corner. You need to prepare a scissor, a hole punch, string/ribbon or yarn and tape or glue.

  • Step 1: Choose the coloring pages that have the shape you want to cut. For example, you can choose sentence Happy Spring or flowers, butterflies, eggs, birds, leaves.
  • Step 2: When you know the shapes you want, let’s cut it out neatly and carefully. You should choose the page having a clear and large pattern.
  • Step 3: At the top of each cutout, you punch a hole to thread them onto a string or ribbon. Making sure that, you space all the coloring sheets evenly.
  • Step 4: That’s all, it’s time to hang up the spring garland on the wall, window or door. For durability, glue the cut-outs onto cardboard before punching holes.

3.2. Greeting Cards

Spring is also the season that has a lot of holidays. You can make spring greeting cards and gift them on special days.

You only need a blank cardstock or plain folded paper, glue stick, scissors and stickers.

    • Step 1: As the first craft, you cut out the sections you want. Let’s cut out the large patterns such as flowers, trees, “Spring” or more.
  • Step 2: Then you fold the cardstock into half to make a card base, or use a blank card.
  • Step 3: Next, glue the cutouts into the front part of that card. Let’s arrange them into a beautiful order, you can sign on it.
  • Step 4: For decoration, you can add stickers, stamps or doodles. It’s ready for you to write a message inside such as “Happy Spring!”, “Thank You”.

To make the card more beautiful, you can glue a piece of colored paper onto another piece of colored paper to create a border.

3.3. Paper Pinwheels

Another idea to do with your finished spring coloring sheets is to make a pinwheel. It’s a good idea to have fun, especially if you are a teacher at kindergarten.

What you need for this craft is square sections of coloring pages, push pin, straw/pencil, scissor, small bead.

  • Step 1: Firstly, you cut the coloring page into a square. The size of the square is around 6×6 inches, or you can choose the size you want.
  • Step 2: Then, using a pencil or marker to draw diagonal lines from corner to corner. Then, you cut about two-thirds along each line toward the center.
  • Step 3: You fold every other corner tip to the center and hold them together. An important note is you couldn’t crease.
  • Step 4: The last step is push a pin through the center. If you have a bead, you can add it behind the pinwheels for easy spinning. Then, let’s attach to the eraser end of a pencil or a straw.

The pinwheel is there for you, try to blow on it or let it spin in the wind. You should make this craft with lightweight paper for better spinning.

3.4. Paper Spring Wreath

The next craft idea is to make a paper spring wreath. The needed materials are scissors, cereal box, glue or glue stick and ribbon for decoration.

  • Step 1: You use the cereal box and cut it into the ring shape. The trick is to put a bowl onto it and trace a circle and a smaller bowl inside for the center.
  • Step 2: Then, you cut the flowers, leaves, or any shapes from your colored pages. Then, arrange them around the ring and glue them down.
  • Step 3: Let’s try to fold petals or leaves and then layer them to create a 3D effect.
  • Step 4: Finally, to hang it on the wall or door, you need to add ribbon loop.

3.5. Spring-Themed Bookmarks

The last idea is to make a spring-themed bookmark which is very useful. Preparing for me a cardstock or thin cardboard, glue stick, hole punch and ribbon, lamination.

  • Step 1: Choosing the size and shape of the bookmark you want first. For example, you can cut it around 2″ x 6″ for a traditional look.
  • Step 2: Then, you cut your coloring page at that size. You can use a pencil and a ruler to outline the shape first and cut along that line.
  • Step 3: To make your bookmark sturdy, you glue the cutout onto the cardstock or cardboard. Making sure that, the edges are trimmed cleanly.
  • Step 4: It’s optional to cover the bookmark clear tape or laminate for durability.
  • Step 5: Let’s punch a hole at the top and tie a ribbon for a cute finish.
