Cut out a simple bee-shaped head and body with yellow paper and wings from the white sheet of paper.
Cut out stripes from the black sheet of paper as shown here and then glue them on the bee body.
Draw a smiley face and glue the googly eyes onto the head of the bee.
Cut the pipe cleaner into two pieces, each about 2 to 3 inches long. Glue it on the blank side of the bee's head.
Create a small hole on each side of the body as well in the base of the wing where it attaches to the bee body.
Take the jute string, tie a knot on one end. Thread the string from front to back through the bee body hole and then the wing hole. Tie a knot at the back and cut left over string. Repeat on other side with other wing.
Poke another hole in each wing below the existing hole. Take another piece of jute string and loop through both wings.
Tie the string in a knot to secure both wings together.
Glue the popsicle stick to the back of the paper.
Take a 10 inch piece of fishing line and tie it around the jute string at the back.
While holding the popisicle stick, gently tug on the fishing line to move the wings.
