17 Best Books For 10 Year Old Boys

books-for-10-year-old-boys

Sometimes it only takes that one perfect book to create an avid reader. I certainly remember the moment I fell in love with literature, and I have been reading ever since! Nowadays, kids are more likely to end up behind a screen than behind a good book. But how can a book compete with the latest video games, toys, and online videos of kids having a good time?

The trick is to introduce them to books that relate to their ever-changing world. Books that speak to them about the trials and tribulations of tweens and that empower and encourage them to do great things! The stories should have a good balance between adventure, suspense, and life lessons.

If you are having difficulty getting your ten-year-old to put down his phone and open a book, you are in the right place! We have a great list of books that are not only age-appropriate but that have been selected by ten-year-old boys themselves!

In Conclusion

Children develop a set of behaviors and reading skills when they step into their tween years. The books they read should foster all the aspects of their lives and encourage their development.

Buying books for your ten-year-old doesn’t have to be a scavenger hunt. The best thing to do is take him along with you to choose his own books, and this way, you won’t be the bad guy for picking a book that he does not like!

We hope our list inspires your kid like it did the others and who knows, soon you may have to limit not only his screen time but his reading time too!
